Voidious this is really shaping up to be an incredible story. There are some specific things I think you're doing well--first, I really dig how the new vision is affecting his psychology (empathy for the microbes, "finding religion", etc.). Also, it seems like a very realistic portrayal of how someone's life would be affected by an ability like this. I find myself feeling sorry for both him and Molly--things are falling apart due to circumstances they can't control, but they're both trying to keep it together.
